Safety At Star Academy Camp

When your children attend the Star Sports Academy camp program, they will be watched over by a team of 20+ full-time, fully qualified sports coaches. Each coach has the qualifications to ensure your children have the best coaching experience possible. At the same time, we focus on ensuring safety at Star Sports Academy Camp is something we take extremely seriously.

  • This includes regular staff meetings and strict vetting of all staff members to ensure they are 100% suitable for the position that they hold in the Star Sports Academy.

  • Each applicant who joins the Star Sports Academy program will be thoroughly interviewed before they join us.

  • We ensure that they meet the highest safeguarding, training, and qualifications standards before they are permitted to join the team.

  • We carry out detailed and thorough background checks and guarantee that all staff members have Paediatric First Aid training.

Information For Parents

  • We ask that all parents remain outside the practice facility, as we have strict meeting points arranged beforehand

  • We also ask that parents ensure that their children are ready to come to camp – please double-check their health beforehand

  • We ask that any children who are unwell be kept away from camp to reduce the risk of illness spreading between participants.

  • Any children who arrive at camp unwell and who have a high temperature will be asked to return to camp when their health permits.
