A Day at Star Sports Camps
Every day at Star Sports Camps is thoughtfully planned to provide a dynamic, inclusive, and age-appropriate experience for every child. Here’s how we structure a typical day to ensure fun, skill development, and engagement:
9:00 AM – 9:15 AM: Welcome and Morning Briefing
We start the day with a warm welcome and a quick introduction to the schedule. During this time, we go over the rules, safety protocols, and an overview of the planned activities to set clear expectations and get everyone excited.
9:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Rotational Training and Activities
This is where the magic happens! Our unique rotation system allows children to explore multiple sports and activities in short, engaging intervals, typically 15–30 minutes per station.
Customized by Age and Ability:
- 5 to 7 Years Old: Younger campers follow a specialized program designed for their age, focusing on basic skills, coordination, and fun games that suit their abilities. They may participate in lighter versions of sports like football or basketball, along with creative activities like rhythmic gymnastics or obstacle courses.
- 8 Years and Above: Older campers enjoy a broader range of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more advanced team-building activities.
Grouped by Skill and Gender:
- Children are grouped based on skill levels and abilities to ensure fair play and maximum learning.
- Boys and girls are sometimes grouped separately, with activities like rhythmic gymnastics tailored specifically for girls and alternative games for boys.
What Kids Can Expect in Rotations:
- Football: Dribbling, passing, and teamwork drills
- Basketball: Shooting, passing, and defensive skills
- Volleyball: Serving, spiking, and fun mini-games
- Badminton Sessions include improving hand-eye coordination, racket control, and quick footwork through drills and engaging matches.
- Gymnastics: Flexibility, balance, and rhythmic routines
- Team Games: Obstacle courses, relay races, and cooperative challenges
11:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch Break
After a morning packed with activities, campers take a well-deserved break to refuel and relax. Lunch provides an opportunity for socializing and preparing for the exciting tournaments ahead.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Tournaments and Match Days
The afternoon is where children showcase their skills in friendly competitions and games. Activities are tailored by age and skill level:
- Younger Age Groups (5–7 Years): Mini-games and simplified matches that encourage participation and teamwork.
- Older Age Groups (8+): Structured tournaments and matches to challenge their abilities and build sportsmanship.
Weekly Highlights:
- Tournament Days: Midweek matches give kids the chance to practice what they’ve learned in a supportive, competitive environment.
- Final Day Awards Ceremony: The week culminates with a grand tournament and an awards ceremony, recognizing effort, improvement, and outstanding participation.
